Spring/Sprang/Sprung

Hard At Work

It seems that sprint may soon be here, something that we have been anxiously waiting for. Mother Nature keeps teasing us ith some very beautiful days, but then slaps us in the face with snow. Kati and I are especially looking forward to warmer weather so that we can get out of the house with Addy. She has had a couple of outings already and is constantly wanting more. When it is too cold we have to keep her mind otherwise occupied because she will go to the door and point towards 'outside'.

Addy has not been able to spend anytime outside since she started walking. The first time I put Addy down outside this spring she did not know quite what to do. She just looked around for a few minutes without even moving. Once she got used to her surroundings, then she thought this was pretty neat. She loves to run around to the front of the house and climb on our front steps. So, we keep a constant eye on her.

Last weekend we were out and so was the neighbors' cat who usually comes over to great us and get petted. Addy was again wary at first, but then thought that it may be fun to touch the cat too. She ended up chasing the cat out of our yard. They are not off the the best start, but we are hoping they will become friends.

Addy has also met our garden gnome Otar. She is enamored with his pointy hat and his nose, and she will great him whenever we are coming or going from the back door.

Kati is preparing for the end of the semester already and will probably be done before we know it. She will be staying home this summer, which will be a blessing for our busy lives. She has not decided what she will be doing in the fall.

I am keeping busy of course at my job at HP. I am working on an interesting new project that will be keeping me busy for the months to come. We have a summer full of projects planned, so hopefully between my job and the projects I will not be able to get into too much trouble.
