I just uploaded some pictures of Addy and Rosalie from this year. Enjoy!

Rosalie was baptized this last Sunday and everything went well. She decided to take a nap right before her big moment and ended up waking up as the water was splashed on her head. This caused much confusion and a little crying. She did great once she was upright again and understood that everyone in the congregation was paying attention to her. She and Addy got to walk up and down the isle together with the Pastor after that. Rosalie's big sister was pretty proud at that moment.

Rosalie Ragna Kragtorp was born at exactly 7:00 am on 4/9/09. A couple weeks early, but still considered full-term. She weighed 7 lbs, 9 oz and 20.5 inches long. Both mother and baby are doing well. Rosalie is a very calm and content baby, much to our delight! We will post some pictures and video in the near future.

Happy birthday to Maya, who turned two years old on March 15. Her parents helped her celebrate by inviting a lucky few family members over (including the Kragtorps). It was a joint celebration of Maya's birthday and St. Patrick's Day. The corn beef and cabbage was delicious... not to mention the cheese cake.

We've moved! Well, we have moved the Kragtorps website anyway. Thanks for all the people that have visited the old website, which has served us so well these past few years.

I have been trying to get a few things done before the next Kragtorp arrives in our home. One of the things on the list was to make some improvements to the website. I wanted to make it easier for us to use, and hopefully that would make it easier to update.

All of the old content has been moved to the new site. The site has a new host and its own domain name now, which is pretty cool. It is also running a content management system which gives me flexibility to do pretty much anything I would want.

Please let me know if you run into any problems with the new site or if there is anything you miss from the old site that has not been included in the new site. Thanks for visiting.

Addy's second birthday has come and passed already. This year she had THREE birthday parties. Wow. I do not know what we are going to do when she gets a little older... Stay tuned for a birthday blog from Kati. I heard it was going to be a good one.

As you can see there have been very few updates this summer. Frankly it is past by so quickly I have hardly realized how fast it has gone by.

Kati has been home, as she is not teaching anything over the summer semester. She will be back in school in a few weeks teaching some more microbiology classes this fall. It has been a blessing having her home over the summer. Things seem to get done around the house now. That to-do list is a lot shorter.

It seems that sprint may soon be here, something that we have been anxiously waiting for. Mother Nature keeps teasing us ith some very beautiful days, but then slaps us in the face with snow. Kati and I are especially looking forward to warmer weather so that we can get out of the house with Addy. She has had a couple of outings already and is constantly wanting more. When it is too cold we have to keep her mind otherwise occupied because she will go to the door and point towards 'outside'.

Happy birthday to Kati! Kati has recently celebrated the fifth anniversary of her 27th birthday. We join her in that celebration (somewhat belated) and wish her a happy and healthy coming year so she can celebrate the sixth anniversary of her 27th birthday.

Happy birthday Maya! The Ides of March this year has brought Maya's first birthday. We wish her a very happy birthday and many joys of what the next year will bring.
