001- It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World
Before literally kicking the bucket when his car careens off an embankment, "Smiler" Grogan (Jimmy Durante) tells onlookers he's stashed $350,000 in stolen loot beneath the big "W" in the town of Santa Rosita -- and thus begins a mad dash to recover said dough. But unbeknownst to the greedy motorists, police Capt. T.G. Culpepper (Spencer Tracy) -- who's been awaiting a break in the Grogan case for 20 years -- is stalking their every move.
003- The Visitor
Widowed professor Walter Vale (Richard Jenkins, in an Oscar-nominated role) finds himself drawn to a different rhythm when he discovers an immigrant couple, Tarek (Haaz Sleiman) and Zainab (Danai Gurira), squatting in his Manhattan flat and becomes wrapped up in their lives. Hiam Abbass co-stars as Tarek's mother, who forges an unlikely connection with Walter when Tarek is thrown into a detention center.
004- The Darjeeling Limited
In the wake of their father's death, three brothers (Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson and Jason Schwartzman) embark on a steam-engine journey across India aboard the Darjeeling Limited and attempt to reconnect after years of physical and emotional distance. The trip also opens up old wounds and proves that the base instincts of sibling rivalry can never be completely erased. Natalie Portman and Anjelica Huston co-star in this Wes Anderson dramedy.
005- Iron Man
After escaping from kidnappers using makeshift power armor, an ultrarich inventor and weapons maker (Robert Downey Jr.) turns his creation into a force for good by using it to fight crime. But his skills are stretched to the limit when he must face the evil Iron Monger. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges and Terrence Howard also star in director Jon Favreau's tongue-in-cheek superhero tale based on the popular Marvel comic.
006- (500) Days of Summer
When his girlfriend, Summer (Zooey Deschanel), unceremoniously dumps him, greeting-card copywriter and hopeless romantic Tom (Golden Globe nominee Joseph Gordon-Levitt) begins sifting through the year-plus worth of days they spent together, looking for clues to what went awry. As he recalls the good and bad times he spent with the commitment-phobic girl, his heart reawakens to what it cherishes most. Marc Webb directs this uncommon love story.
007- Monty Python's Life of Brian
Born on the original Christmas Day in the stable next door to Jesus, Brian (Graham Chapman) grows up to join an anti-Roman separatist group. But as he tries to escape trouble with the law, he finds himself reluctantly thrust into the role of the Messiah. Monty Python legends John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle and Michael Palin co-star in this classic religious satire that pokes fun at fanaticism and hypocrisy.
008- Monty Python's The Meaning of Life
The no-holds-barred Pythons explore the various facets of life -- from procreation to the clang of a death knell -- in their typical irreverent fashion, proclaiming "Every sperm is sacred." (Or didn't you know?) Darker and more disturbing than other Monty Python fare, the film follows a sketch comedy format and includes highlights such as the heave-inducing "world's biggest glutton" skit featuring John Cleese and Terry Jones.
009- Green Lantern
Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds), a brash, talented test pilot, is chosen by an alien force of warriors to become their representative on Earth and use his new powers as the Green Lantern to promote order and justice before conflict destroys his world. Despite being the first human to wear the ring that bestows his abilities, Hal must combat villain Parallax. Fellow pilot Carol Ferris (Blake Lively) aids Hal in his quest to save the galaxy.
010- Startup.com
From dot-com to dot-bomb, this docudrama follows the charismatic heads of an Internet startup company from their halcyon early days into the quagmire of contentious bickering that occurred when their company -- govWorks.com -- flamed out. Documentarians Chris Hegedus (The War Room) and Jehane Noujaim are poised front and center to capture the high hopes and heartache that have become inextricable parts of the wired world.
